"From Poverty to Prosperity" Born and raised in the inner-city of Milwaukee, Wisconsin, daring to dream and striving to excel became more than a motto - it became his way of life. As a youth Agnew was an honor athlete pioneering new grounds in the community. He was appointed to WTMJ\'s Second Sunday Talk Show as a panel student representative. He later become a youth journalist with the pilot program for Marquette University\'s Youth Journalism Workshop. At 16 Agnew became on of the youngest Youth Writes for Colorline Magazine and later went on to earn over $25,000 in scholarship funding for his creative writing and youth leadership within the community. During high school Agnew interned for Northwestern Mutual Life and successfully earned a summer employment placement as a Office Assistant. For his outstanding work within the community he was appointed as a Youth Delegate for the Brian Hodges Project Save the Youth organization. Agnew was given a Commmunity Merit Award as well as a shining letter of recommendation for college by Wisconsin State Representative Shirley Krug. Agnew went on to earn a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Mass Communications with an emphasis in Journalism, as well as a Bachelors of Business Administration Degree with an emphasis in Marketing and minor studies in Entertainment Law. With an Masters in Business Administrations (MBA) Agnew has established himself a reputation of excellence within the private-sector as well as with the community-based organizations (CBO) and non-profit sectors. Agnew has been awarded a Proclamation by Mayor John O. Norquist of the City of Milwaukee for his work with community redevelopment. Agnew has done consulting work for Harley-Davison, AO Smith Corporation, Pyro Records, Magic Johnson Productions, Hickman\'s Academy, F & S Maintenance, Denim & Diamond, Ballard Construction, Western Plow, and various other major companies/organizations throughout the country. As a journalist, Agnew has worked with The Jackson Sun Newspaper, The Milwaukee Sentinel Newspaper, and the Milwaukee Courier Community Newspaper. He has also worked with Courier Communications Radio 860AM as a radio news broadcaster. He has worked with various city, state, and federal organizations. Private Industry Council of Milwaukee County (PIC), Goodwill Industries, Wisconsin Educational Approval Committee (WEAC), and the AFL-CIO are a few of the various affiliations. He possesses over 15 years of professional grant writing and business consulting experience. He has over 10 years of teaching experience ranging from middle school to high school as well as adult (vocational & executive level). He is the founder of MPR: Money - Power - Respect Seminar Trainings and developed the CORE: Committment Obligation Responsibilty Enthusiasm Training Program. These programs capitlized on the development of quality leadership skills, professional management skills, and mastering presentation skills. Agnew was appointed by former Govenor Tommy Thompson as a Community Advocate for the development of the Wisconsin Works project as well as an advisor for the design of the CARES software utilized by Wisconsin Social Services. He has been responsible for the development of executive level curriculum and training programs for Milwaukee Professional Careers, Inc. (MPCI) and is the current Program Director for Wisconsin Career Training, Inc. (WCTI). His consulting experience ranges from start-up businesses to expansions for Fortune 500 companies. Agnew has worked hands on in management and executive capacities besides actual instructing/coaching. A master orator with the ability to produce under any and all circumstances. Deadlines and goals are sought after and exceeded. Through education, experience, and skill - Agnew is an integral part of any dynamic organization seeking to operate at the paramount of their performance. He enjoys a reputable and well-established rapport within the professional community. Stable, loyal, and dedicated.
