Darcy H. Lee is a trusted consultant to nonprofit organizations, a businesswoman and a Coach U trained coach. She draws upon two decades of expertise in nonprofit management, strategic planning, volunteer engagement and successful leadership to advise you through life's challenges - personal, professional and organizational. Lee has more than 20 years experience in nonprofit management, event planning and government service, the last fourteen of which have been dedicated exclusively to fundraising and organizational development. As Chief Development Officer for the Center for Women & Enterprise, Lee managed a team of professionals and volunteers who raised more than $1.7 million annually for services in Boston and Worcester, Massachusetts, and Providence, Rhode Island. As Campaign and Development Director at Pilgrim Hall Museum, Lee successfully directed the museum’s $3.4 million capital campaign over goal, ultimately raising more than $4 million overall. She was the Development Director at Orchard House, and served as Director of the Clark Fund at Clark University. While at Clark, Lee directed a $2.1 million annual fundraising program and developed and implemented strategies to increase giving to the University from a worldwide constituency. Lee began her career as a staff member in the archives of the John F. Kennedy Library and Museum in Boston, and later served on the staff of the John F. Kennedy Library Foundation. While at the JFK Library Foundation, Lee was part of the team that produced Distinguished Foreign Visitor Events, the Profile in Courage Award, and the 1993 Re-Dedication of the Museum. She also served as Press Aide for the late U.S. Senator Edward M. Kennedy. She has a B.A. in history from Marymount College/Fordham University, and is a strong advocate for professional development, having studied at Harvard University Extension School, Radcliffe College, and Clark University. As a businesswoman, Lee created Alden Charles Associates. ACA has grown into one of the leading fundraising consulting firms located in New England, and has assisted clients with combined budgets totaling more than $60 million. Responding directly to the needs of client organizations, Lee launched I AM Coaching. I AM Coaching specializes in personal, professional and organizational development.
