The main office is located in beautiful Santa Fe, New Mexico. The Performance Doctor also operates from offices in Antioch, CA, Buellton/Solvang, CA, and Columbus/Dublin, Ohio to keep travel time and expenses to events/clients under control.

As CEO of AMC LLC, Dr. Axel Meierhoefer, - The Performance Doctor -  utilizes his decades of experience to specialize in four focus areas: Leadership Improvement, Organizational Change Management, Facilitation and Speaking

In the past few years Axel has focused on Leadership and Change Management as a speaker, facilitator and lecturer for universities in Europe and the United States, and for corporate clients in manufacturing, personell development, incubators, R&D, alternative energy and utilities, pharmaceutical, and education. He also co-developed "Innovation Mapping," a discovery learning approach that is now being applied world-wide in the United States, Europe, and India.

Axel began his career as a German Air Force Aviator. His final military assignment led him to the U.S. as a senior program manager charged with creating a multi-national aviation training facility in New Mexico.

Axel holds a Bachelors degree in Aviation and Management from Hamburg College in Germany, a Masters Degree in Organizational Management from Antioch University in Santa Barbara, CA, and a PhD in Leadership from Antioch University in Ohio.

Axel is a certified Performance Coach, a Master Life Coach and holds a long list of other certificates related to speaking, learning, facilitation, and coaching.

Axel, Heidi and Sarah reside in Santa Barbara county.
