SPECIALIZING IN BUSINESS TRAINING AND KEYNOTE

Dr. Merle Rhoades has been an educator and entrepreneur for 40 years serving as teacher, administrator, business counselor/trainer and business owner.  He holds B.A. and M.A. degrees from the University of Northern Colorado and a Ph.D. degree from Colorado State University.  His dissertation topic was  “The Impact of Burnout Upon Leadership Behavior in the Classroom”.  He is a certified NxLevel Trainer, Small Business Counselor, and a True Colors Facilitator with advanced training in teaching/learning styles, teambuilding, and communication.  He has done extensive research on the relationship between personalities and customer service.  He is currently doing research on the relationships between leadership, ethics, and integrity.  His experience in the areas of human resource, finance/accounting, marketing and entrepreneurship in both public and private organizations makes him a diverse business counselor and executive coach.

He has served as a board member and held office of numerous professional organizations at the local, state, and national levels.  His teaching abilities have been recognized at the local, state, and national levels.  He has been an advisor to student organizations that have won numerous state and national awards.  He has conducted leadership academies and trained individuals to become successful business leaders through teambuilding, conflict resolution, time management, and stress control. He has been involved by serving on boards and holding office in community groups such as Chamber of Commerce, United Way, Optimist International, and Church organizations. He is known for his integrity and the teaching of high business ethics. 

You will find that his presentations are motivating, inspiring, and interactive.  He will share his personal experience as an educator, entrepreneur, parent, and leader.  He will refer to the personality studies of Don Lowry, David Keirsey, Isabel Briggs-Myers, Katharine Cook-Briggs and Carl Jung.  He uses the philosophies of such noted leaders as Stephen Covey, Ken Blanchard, Tom Peters, Peter Drucker, Jim Collins, John Maxwell, Joel Osteen, Wayde Goodall, and Quinn McKay.  He will share his work experience with both the private and public sector.  Dr. Rhoades' entrepreneurial spirit within the corporate world makes him a popular speaker, trainer, coach, and consultant.
