As a researcher, educator and entertainer Pete has a unique ability to show people how to communicate technical information without putting the audience to sleep. Believed to the the World\'s only stand-up comedian with a Ph.D. from MIT he can give your technical meeting that badly needed infusion of humor or help your technical staff communicate better with the rest of the world. With 18 years of experience in research and development at IBM, NASA, the Eidgenössiche Technische Hochscule-Zürich , Molecular Simulations Inc. (now Accelrys Inc.) and Georgia Tech he is also an experienced educator and a stand-up comedian. Currently a member of the Chemical & Biomolecular Engineering Faculty at Georgia Tech, he has given seminars and courses his research area of molecular modeling and polymer science addressing industrial applications from microelectronics and engineering materials to polymer membranes and bioengineering. Over the last dozen years at at Georgia Tech Pete has taught undergraduate and graduate classes in chemical engineering, polymer science, biomaterials, adjusting to college life and computer science. At Georgia Tech Pete is the guy they call on to motivate everyone from incoming students, and alumni and teach faculty how to improve their educational methods. He hosts a weekly radio show on science and techology on Radio Sandy Springs in the Atlanta area. Pete has appeared in comedy clubs from California to Florida and has mixed that humor with his educational and technical background to brighten a number of technical meetings, seminars and banquets including the following venues
