JACK WILKINSON SEASONED REAL ESTATE PROFESSIONAL DYNAMIC PUBLIC SPEAKER SOUGHT-AFTER TEACHER PUBLISHED WRITER Whether teaching an educational seminar, delivering a keynote speech, instructing in a classroom, making a sales presentation, or acting as Master of Ceremonies/Auctioneer for fundraisers, Jacks engaging style of communication is consistently persuasive and entertaining. REAL ESTATE Jack Wilkinson, a licensed California Real Estate Broker, has used his negotiating skills and marketing expertise for the benefit of his commercial real estate clients for over 25 years. His wide range of real estate experience includes representing buyers and sellers, tenants and lessors in residential, commercial, and investment transactions. He has participated in the site selection, sale, and development of unimproved real estate, involving hearings and presentations before planning staff, planning commissions, city councils and county supervisors, for project approval. He has designed and implemented marketing plans for residential subdivisions and, as the leasing agent for retail shopping centers, has been closely involved in lease negotiations. These have included long term ground lease and build to suit lease transactions. In addition to having a GRADUATE, REALTORS® INSTITUTE designation, Jack is a certified private postsecondary and vocational education instructor, qualified to teach all phases of real estate licensing, broker, continuing education and appraisal courses in the state of California. He has been a part time instructor for Kaplan Professional Schools since 1990 and is a contributing editor to the new student workbook, California Real Estate Practice: Blueprint for Success, published in 2007. Jack brings a deep and practiced knowledge of real estate to his long-term active membership in the Marin Association of REALTORS® (MAR). He served as 2002 President of MAR and has been co-chair and chairman of many committees, including Governmental Relations, Environment & Ecology, Strategic Planning and BORPAC. He served as Secretary and Team Leader of the 1988 San Rafael General Plan Review and has functioned as a director of the California Association of Realtors. He is currently chair of the 2008 MAR Membership & Communications Committee and serves on the Budget & Finance Committee. An award-winning public speaker, Jacks lively and informative presentation skills serve him well as a member of the Marin Association of Realtors Speakers Bureau. TEACHER Fortunately for his students, Jack enjoys teaching today as much as he did when he first stood in front of a class 18 years ago.
