A longtime college professor of writing, research, and English as a Second Language, Dr. Jill Kelly brings more than a decade of recent experience as a freelance writer/editor for businesses and professional individuals to her work as a teacher of business writing, communication, and creative coaching. She has been teaching a popular course on Effective Business Writing at the OGI School of Science and Engineering of the Oregon Health & Science University for the past 9 years.

From clients as large as Intel, Lockheed Martin, and Sun Microsystems and projects as varied as personal websites, high-tech marketing collateral, and researched white papers, she has learned what makes business communication and writing effective and powerful and how to encourage that in others. A dynamic presenter and teacher, Jill has a knack for setting groups at ease, presenting material in a lively manner, and making clear-communication converts of everyone.
