Kelly Hall-Tompkins has performed around the world on 5 continents and is one of New York City’s most in-demand violinists, whose dynamic career spans solo, chamber, and orchestral performance.  Ms. Hall-Tompkins was winner of a 2003 Naumburg International Violin Competition Honorarium Prize and in 2007 she was invited by actress Mia Farrow to be soloist in Carnegie Hall for her Benefit for the Victims of Darfur.  As soloist, Ms. Hall-Tompkins has appeared with the Dallas Symphony, Chamber Orchestra of New York, Philharmonic of Uruguay and her solo recital appearances include Carnegie Hall, the National Academy of Sciences in Washington plus venues in Chicago, Baltimore and Barnes and Nobles Lincoln Center, NYC and Florida.  Ms. Hall-Tompkins has released two solo recordings, most recently “In My Own Voice” on MSR Classics which was critically acclaimed in The BBC Music Magazine and Fanfare Magazine among others.  As a member of the Ritz Chamber Players, Kelly Hall-Tompkins will be Performer in Residence at The Juilliard School and has also appeared live on BBC Radio, WNYC’s “Soundcheck”, Lincoln Center, Raleigh Chamber Music Guild, and Chicago WFMT’s Jewel Box Series to name a few.  Ms. Hall-Tompkins has also performed chamber music on New York City’s prestigious and unique Bargemusic Series.  Ms. Hall-Tompkins has performed and studied at most of the major festivals in the U.S. and abroad, including Tanglewood, Aspen, the Quartet Program, the American Conservatory in Fontainebleau, France, the Schleswig-Holstein Festival in Germany, the Spoleto Festival in Italy.  Ms. Hall-Tompkins’ distinguished orchestral career has included extensive touring in the United States and internationally with the Orpheus Chamber Orchestra, including performances in Carnegie Hall, Lincoln Center, Japan, Singapore, Scotland, and over 150 performances with The New York Philharmonic.  Kelly Hall-Tompkins is currently Concertmaster of The Chamber Orchestra of New York and a member of the New Jersey Symphony First Violin Section.  In her non-performance roles, Ms. Hall-Tompkins is President of the Bach Vespers Foundation and Board member of the Gustav Mahler Society in New York. She has also served as Concert and Media Spokesperson, CEO Search Committee Member, and Chairperson of the Artistic Advisory Committee for the New Jersey Symphony, Grant panelist for The Massachusetts Cultural Council and Chamber Music America, and is currently the Founder and Director of Music Kitchen-Food for the Soul , a community service series which presents New York’s top artists in concert for NYC Homeless Shelters.  Kelly Hall-Tompkins received her MM from The Manhattan School of Music and a BM with Honors and a minor in French from The Eastman School of Music.
