Profile
Rose Snyder is a leading governance expert for national and regional organizations across the country. Her unique experience in the Olympic sports world and her management knowledge allows her “coach” and prepare boards and staff for high level performance and achievement. Rose’s expertise in team building and passion for excellence help organizations advance their mission and improve effectiveness. Her cornerstone presentations include, team building, governance education, customer service, and strategic planning. In addition to consulting, Rose is also a gifted presenter and has served as a keynote motivational speaker. Prior to consulting, Rose held key leadership positions for the U.S. Olympic Committee, Cheyenne Mountain Resort, USA Swimming, and U.S. Figure Skating. She is the author and creator of national education programs designed to help organizations large or small run and lead strategically with the mission in mind.
Prior to her work in administration, Rose was a successful swim coach whose swimmers went on to compete at the Olympic trials. Rose still enjoys her role as a “coach” by running successful “train the trainer programs” for Olympic and national coaches and sport administrators since 1990.
Rose has a Masters Degree in Organizational Management and a Bachelors of Science Degree in Education. In addition, Rose has trained extensively with Board Source, formerly the National Center for Nonprofit Boards. She is also a recognized trainer through Consultants Psychologists Press Inc. qualified to conduct the Myers-Briggs assessment, Thomas-Kilman Conflict Mode, and the FIRO B. She is one of only a handful in the world liscensed to conduct Psycho-geometrics® (Shapes) communication seminars.
