Courses

Classes:

Power Writing

Language is power, but only when you know how to use it effectively. Whether you write one-paragraph emails or 200-page reports, learn how to get your point across simply, directly, and powerfully.

Please Don’t Talk to My Chest: Body Language in the Workplace

70% of communication is nonverbal. Are you unwittingly sabotaging your career with your gestures, posture, and expressions? Learn what your body language says about you.

Grammar Check Is Not Enough

Do you know the difference between active and passive voice? What’s a misplaced modifier and why should you avoid it? Look and sound smarter with this grammar refresher course.

Technical Writing 101

Perfect for every IT department! Reduce your tech support workload by learning how to write documentation that users will read and understand.

Executive Training: Find Your Own Voice

You’ll communicate most effectively when you infuse your writing and speaking with your own personality. I’ll work with you one-on-one to help you find your voice in both written and oral communications. Be heard and understood by your peers, superiors, and supervisees.

Education

Education: Beverly holds a B.A. in Communications and a Master of Fine Arts in Writing from Hamline University in St. Paul, Minnesota.
