Helping Boards Help Themselves
Ugh! Who wants to hear about corporate governance? No one!
Not until something goes wrong. . .
If you were given a method that provides a justifiable defense for possible corporate missteps, would you want to know more?
As a doctoral candidate at The George Washington University, Dr. Andert's ground-breaking research explored corporate governance for Fortune 1,000 Boards of Directors, and provided the first understanding of Human Resource Development (HRD) as a Board oversight mandate. Her skills and extensive experience on various Boards and audit committees, knowledge as an Arbitrator for the National Association of Securities Dealers (NASD), abilities as a Certified Financial Manager (CFM), and experience as a Certified Management Consultant (CMC) provide solid working knowledge unmatched by many in the field.
She is taking HRD into the boardroom. As principal of Andert Governance Corporation, she has engaged personnel to develop online assessment tools that go beyond the standard "sentiment survey." She has authored the 4 X 4 Board Assessment methodology and currently is working with various organizations to improve their corporate governance structure and oversight protocols.
"Working with Darlene Andert is a smart business decision."
Dr. Andert has authored books and numerous articles for professional journals; designed and delivered certification programs; and provided over a decade of service to organizational development projects for national and local client organizations. She is the Director of the International Center for Responsible Corporate Governance at Florida Gulf Coast University (FGCU), and serves as a faculty member in the recently launched Graduate Compliance Specialist certificate program at FGCU.
She would love to meet you and discuss what needs your organization has in the regulatory reality we exist in today. Striving for better boards. . . |
