The above represents my philosophy of life, which seems to be gaining some traction as I "take it on the road.
Below please find a more detailed explanation of same, taken from my new book, "To Play Along The Path- The Multifarious Ps of Existential Philosophy & Practice"
"We should act as if our lives will last forever, as if our energies were limitless, as if we could do anything and everything we choose, as if we had no personal constraints.
Knowing we are doomed to fail in this quest, but developing faith in ourselves, through ongoing self-reflection, loving conversations with others and with a higher force, this is the essence of optimistic, spiritual existentialism, with a libertarian twist."
I thoroughly enjoyed participation as an exhibitor and attendance at the above-referenced event. There were personal, philosophical and political dynamics between the long time membership of this organization and the new corporate owners, the Kennedy Group. The melange of messages given by corporate recuriters, resume writers, career coaches, life coaches and the like.....was quite frankly dizzying. The subliminal understones of the speakers were optimistically existentialist in an otherwise pessimistic business and employment climate. My works which were exhibited "The Optimistic Existentialist" and "To Play Along The Path" seemed to be well received, although skepticism was perceived amongst and amidst many small business owners.
The interchange of ideas and approaches to law, love, life, literature and workplace concerns was inspiring....and Minneapolis proved to be a great conference v
Will be attending the above-mentioned conference in Minneapolis from April 30-May 2. Resume writing, career changes, returning to the corporate market after respite, traditional movivational speeches, Jesus Christ Superstar production and more. Not exactly my bag, but I will be introducing a "spiritual, philosophical, pragmatic, legalistic, small business approach" at my booth....and hope and expect such will be well received.
I have noted a veritable surge in the infusion of existential philosophy, psychology and practice into almost every aspect of American life- love, law, literature, entertainment, medicine, mental health counseling, politics....etc.
Baby boomers who are re-living an "existential past" are particularly ardent adherents, as are the "twenty something" generation, children of said baby boomers.
This makes me feel as though my life's work has not been in vain....as I continue to travel the country and the world with my "optimistic, spiritual, existential yet practical" message.
I note pockets of extreme interest in this approach to life all over the midwest particularly, to wit: Iowa, Nebraska, Wisconsin, The Dakotas, Western Illinois and Missouri. Similarly I have detected same in Latin America and The Caribbean and in parts of Asia.
Ironic, inasmuch as the philosophical roots of this movement

The above-titled work will soon be off the presses. Legal, medical, teaching and other professionals contribute to this anthology by providing their "take" on how this approach to life brngs us all together......and maintains our unique individuality at the same time.
Am taking the "themes" of optimistic, spiritual existentialism" on the road in '08, '09 and beyond.
My public seminars, speaking engagements, classes and course on "existentialism" will integrate this book as well as others such as "The Optimistic Existentialist," "Beyond Ideology" and more traditional works depicting existential philosophy and psychology.
I am passionate about the above-mentioned theme and endeavor to integrate same into virtually all of my public and private speaking events and seminars. I welcome commentary from like-minded individuals and entities.
