Leadership is not a straight line emanating from the leader's influence to the follower's compliance. It IS the exchange of energy between people who exchange utilization of the roles of leader and the roles of follower. People allow and accept others to play or assume the role of LEADER or those who play or assume the role of FOLLOWER. It is an exchange and dynamic process.
All people have the power to choose the position in the exchange based on the variables of value upon which they focus.
