About the Presenters
Ted Knight and Larry Losoncy have team taught leadership for many years in a variety of settings including corporations, civic and community organizations and non-profit enterprises. They have been leaders all of their lives.
The presenters bring to each session well-honed leadership skills gained from their own leadership positions.
Ted Knight has been a management consultant, trainer and project director in a variety of health care, marketing, business development, entrepreneurial, and operational and organizational improvement engagements. His latest leadership book, Leadership – What It Is, How It Works & How to Do It, is directed toward average citizens who suddenly find themselves president of their community association, the local parent-teacher organization, Girl Scout cookie chairman, and in other such leadership situations. As a member of the National Eagle Scout Association and a lifetime Scouter, he has taught leadership to Boy Scouts and co-authored A Scoutmaster’s Guide to Youth Leadership Training. Additionally he has published several books on educational leadership including Planning for Colleges and Universities – The President’s Guide, Successful Planning for Private Schools – The Administrator’s Guide, and Pursuing the Winning Grant.
LarryLosoncy developed his leadership skills in a wide variety of settings as a manager, educator, clinician and businessman. He has experience and familiarity with the mobile home park industry, housing, construction, sanitation, publishing, mental health, education, health care, energy and agriculture. Dr. Larry is a speaker, trainer and executive management coach for MVP. He has organized consulting networks, mental health groups, education departments and community operations and a number of small businesses.
