If you can’t show resilience, empathy, adaptability and pinpoint intuition you may fall into the same pit a lot of executives and part time leaders found themselves in when the hammer came down. Today’s human capital is required to be precise, risk takers with grounding and stability in their character expression. Rigidity and lack of concern for the company, employees and stockholders at the same time has slain many ladder climbers. Emotional Intelligence is the yardstick that you are measuring others by and you are being measured by. Your superiors may not have told you about it and if you aren’t intuitive to read it you better learn how fast. With today’s technology and information overload if you can’t realize whether you are doing the right things at that moment or know how to adjust to it, an MBA won’t help you either. IQ is what the researchers and development departments are full of but their leaders probably aren’t reading transcripts from schools anymore. They are watching you work the crowd of fellow employees and whether your empathetic prowess is worth spending their time and money on to groom you. Do you have the material to read others and adjust to their needs or ability to reprimand them for their negligence attitudes when needed. These characteristics are the one’s all the A’s in school you could make can’t and won’t help. You will derail like the rest of the one’s before you or may come after you.

Today’s worker needs soft skills to learn faster, make changes needed with the right amount of risk and character stability to own it whether it’s a bad decision or a good one. These are skills that intuitive training can only bring and motivations to get them and keep them are up to you. If you can’t learn faster, improve your comprehension and retention values while learning faster you are going to be passed by the one who can. Introspection is a trait that we all need and even more need to understand what it really means. Not just time to meditate but master you conscious time and know at the same time that it is the right time and thing to be doing when you do it.

If you aren’t there do you know how to get there and how long to stay there when you achieve it. Critical thinking and critical reasoning is a learned skill that you have to nurture the right way with the right coaching. Rigidity, obstinate, improper influence power mongering will never get you anything but pain without synergism. I have never seen it done by just one you need the help to give the help. You can learn to have leadership traits if you know how the leaders got them. Believe me being a natural born leader is a myth and the sooner you realize it the closer to being one your chances get.
