[Bear with me here, First attempt at blogging here and can't seem to yet get this photo to work]~
We are Born
MVP
and as children we know it!
As we grow, dream, HOPE
play with wild abandon and laugh with the wind, we always know we are destined for greatness.
Who are we kidding?
We are GREAT
The next Michael Jordon to be certain,
the next Hall of Famer, (notice those initials on the cheek of my Godson there)
the Next cover of Forbes,
the one to cure Cancer…
the list is endless
The next one to walk across the Galaxies
as we leap on mattresses, across the mud puddles and oceans beckon us to across waves… we have no fear.
Fear is taught or developed along the way, and before we know it, we become the very thing that we are taught! We take it with us into the work place, into our relationships, no longer remembering those moments on football fields, in the majesty of the ocean and castles on the sand.
We sometimes find ourselves “settling” and forgetting the passion that fueled our yourth so long ago, we “choose” to not look at the child still living within us, or the children we now have or those who play with that same wild abandon that we are privledged to see around us. We become “bogged down” in our lifes work, and we stop living and insted we get to busy to make a living that we forget to make a life.
Is it fear?
Is it “settling”
Does it cause stress?
Compassion Fatigue?
Is it showing up in all avenues of our ife?
Work/Home/Family/Friends/Self?
YOU betcha!
We are out of balance
and
if you
“peel the onion”
really peel it,
you will find there are some
grief (yes I said it here)
real loss and grief issues behind, and
tangled and deep within
the deeper you peel and are willing to go.
If you are willing to dig deeply
down where it is dark and tangled,
you will find fear and uncertainity is holding you back!
IF you take the leap, IF you work,
YOU will find your passion and your way back to those days where you remember
who you are, you will re-discover the
MVP that is there, the passion that fuels you
in
WORK
FAMILY
FRIENDS
Deeply within
YOU
and only then will you restore, renew, re-charge
and find, that you are
the MVP
that is the winner
who can balance all things.
That is where the passion for your work
makes all things possible,
with kindness, compassion, and passion.
FOCUS
Be mindful in all ways, in al things.
YOU are a winner, it is your defining moment!
It is hard work,
but the investment, the time is about
YOU
the dividends are huge.
